Clinical Trials

The objective of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of using the MEDESTO device for upper limb recovery during the practice of simulated instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs).

50 Patients

In the clinical trial, 50 participants of patients with upper limb disabilities (hemiplegia) followed an everyday rehabilitation program in 2 groups. More specifically, the patients were in the sub-acute and chronic stage after a stroke.

Control Group - Robotic

In the control group, 25 patients followed an every day robotic rehabilitation program using MEDESTO Glove. 

Evaluations Scales

To evaluate the effectiveness of Medesto Glove, we used the FMA, STEF, and BI scores.
